Built on years of research, development, and accumulated technical expertise, iBULe Photonics has grown into a specialized company covering the entire PMN-PT piezoelectric single-crystal value chain—from crystal growth and precision processing to application-product development. Based on world-class single-crystal manufacturing technology and production capability, we provide core materials and solutions for advanced industries including medical ultrasound, precision sensors, actuators, underwater acoustics, and defense systems.

We aim to go beyond simply producing materials and become a technology partner that realizes new possibilities together with our customers. Through continuous R&D and collaboration with partners in Korea and abroad, we will pioneer new applications for piezoelectric single-crystal technology and advance as a provider of advanced components and solutions.

Founder Profile

More than two decades translating single-crystal material science into manufacturable sensor technology.

Dr. Sang-Goo Lee founded iBULe Photonics in 1999 and has led the company’s technical evolution from piezoelectric single-crystal materials into advanced transducers, sonar sensors, medical-ultrasound components, MEMS/PIC devices, and industrial sensing platforms.

His leadership has centered on integrating crystal-growth know-how, precision manufacturing, device engineering, and application-specific validation so that material performance can be translated into reliable products for demanding commercial and defense environments.

Under this direction, iBULe has expanded into large-diameter 5-inch-class single-crystal platforms, dedicated manufacturing and test infrastructure, and multi-industry applications spanning medical ultrasound, MEMS/PIC, NDT, and underwater acoustic systems.
